Man Shot Dead In South Shore
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot to death Wednesday evening in the South Shore neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.
It was the second fatal shooting so far on the first day of June, following a deadly month of May.
The man, whose exact age was unknown, was shot in the head about 5 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Coles, police said.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he later died, police said.
