Man Shot And Killed Sitting In Car In Austin
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot as he sat in a car in the Austin neighborhood Monday night, police said.
About 9:35 p.m., the 36-year-old was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked sedan in the 5100 block of West Crystal Street when a male walked up and opened fire, police said.
The man, shot in the head and neck, then drove a block north to the 5100 block of West Potomac, where he was found dead, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not confirm the death late Monday.
