Man Riding Bike Fatally Shot By Someone In SUV
CHICAGO (STMW) - A 22-year-old man was fatally shot on the South Side early Saturday.
Cory King, of the 2800 block of West 82nd St., was pronounced dead at 3:27 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
About 2:40 a.m., a 22-year-old man was riding a bike on the street on the 3100 block of West 81st Street, when a light-colored SUV drove by and someone inside fired shots, striking the victim in the back, a report from police News Affairs said.
No one was in custody as of about 4 a.m. Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
