HARVEY, Ill. (STMW) - A man was found shot in a car in south suburban Harvey died Friday night.

David Hernandez, 31, of an unidentified home address, was shot at 15100 S. Wood St. in Harvey and was pronounced dead at 7:03 p.m. Friday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

A Saturday autopsy determined Hernandez died of a gunshot wound to the back and his death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner's office said.

Harvey police are investigating.
