Man Fatally Shot In Little Village

CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the Little Village neighborhood, police said.
The 32-year-old man -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as Alberto Quinto -- was walking on the sidewalk in the 4200 block of West 26th Street when an unidentified gunman shot him in the chest about 1:30 p.m., police said.
Quinto, was pronounced dead at 2:04 p.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital, the medical examiner's office said. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
Nobody is in custody Sunday night, and a description of the gunman was not immediately available.
Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
