Man Fatally Shot In Kenwood
(CBS) -- Chicago police say a man was fatally shot inside of a vehicle Tuesday in the Kenwood neighborhood just blocks away from President Barack Obama's home.
The shooting occurred around 6 p.m. in the 5000 block of S. Dorchester when police say another vehicle approached and fired shots, hitting the 25-year-old man.
Police say the victim is a documented gang member. Football practice at nearby Kenwood Academy was concluding around the time of the shooting.
