Man Fatally Shot In Austin
(STMW) -- A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Tuesday night.
The man was shot in the chest and shoulder at 7:53 p.m. while in the 400 block of North Lawler, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:36 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
His name was not being released Tuesday night pending notification of his family.
Police said the man was 18.
