CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 34-year-old was shot multiple times about 12:20 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Grenshaw, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
