White Sox closer Liam Hendriks says he's cancer free
CHICAGO (CBS) – Great news for White Sox closer Liam Hendriks – he announced on Instagram he is officially in remission.
Hendriks announced "It's official. I'm cancer free."
The pitcher had his last round of chemotherapy treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this month.
That was after he announced the diagnosis in January.
