Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day on Friday in Chicago. 

Storms end by late day and no severe weather is expected. Highs will be in the 50s, with warmer conditions to the south in the 60s. 

Turning cooler and breezy into the night with lows in the 40s. A few areas may slip into the uppermost 30s by daybreak. 

It will be noticeably cooler on Saturday with highs in the 50s and chilly breezes. Warming up Sunday with highs in the middle 60s. 

Summer-like warmth arrives on Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 80s. The next risk for thunderstorms arrives late Monday night into Tuesday ahead of a mid-week temperature crash.
