Chicago Weather Alert: Multiple rounds of storms
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Multiple rounds of storms are ahead.
Stronger storms appear more likely later in the day. In the meantime, we'll have a mix of clouds and sun, windy conditions, and temperatures in the 70s.
A Wind Advisory has been posted for parts of the area, with gusts to 45 mph.
Severe threat is increasing this afternoon. Any storms that form today have the potential for damaging winds and large hail.
Also, the tornado threat is looking more impressive. The timing for severe weather heightens 2pm to 9pm.
Showers linger tonight for northwest Indiana, giving way to a fairly nice Spring day tomorrow. Cooler weather expected for the weekend.
