Chicago weather: Overnight snow, lows in the teens
Snow will developand continue overnight into early Wednesday morning, mainly near and north of Interstate 80. The heaviest snow is expected in far northern Illinois, especially near the Wisconsin state line, where totals of 3 to 5 inches are possible.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 8 a.m. Wednesday for Lake, McHenry, Winnebago, and Boone counties. A separate winter weather advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday for DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Ogle, and northern and central Cook counties.
