Free Wi-Fi coming to Chicago parks

CHICAGO (CBS) — The Chicago Park District is making it easier to stay connected by providing free Wi-Fi access at 60 parks, thanks to an $8 million investment.

It will be available in field houses, outdoor areas and in a 200-yard radius in nearby neighborhoods. The installation at the parks is already underway and is expected to be wrapped by this fall.
