Chicago Pays $1.2 Million To Victims Of CPD Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago City Council agreed to pay $1.2 million to settle the case of a Chicago police officer shooting two men.
The money will go to both men. The officer was charged with two crimes.
A video of that shooting in December 2020 shows the officer opening fire on two men in a car parked behind him. Police body camera video showed one of the men, who was hit in the hand.
