Breezy and bright day in Chicago on Wednesday

CHICAGO (CBS)—Mild, pleasant weather continues this week into the weekend as we track another cool front heading to the Chicago area.

Following breezy sunshine and highs in the 70s on Monday, we will enjoy a cool morning on Tuesday, with lows away from the lake dropping into the 50s.

West winds briefly warm temperatures to the 80s and bring a touch more humidity back Thursday, but a dry cold front Friday morning drops temperatures and humidity again. 

For the Air and Water show, we will enjoy breezy winds and pleasant temperatures this weekend.

Next week, we are tracking warmer and eventually wetter weather. A few isolated showers are possible Monday through Wednesday, but higher storm chances may lurk toward the end of the work week. Stay with the First Alert Weather team for updates.
