SWAT On The Scene Of A Man Barricaded Inside Apartment Near A Sonic Restaurant In Uptown
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is in custody after being barricaded inside an apartment in the Uptown neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
Initial reports say a man was barricaded alone inside an apartment. SWAT responded to an armed man on the 4600 block of North Kenmore Avenue. Once there, they were able to locate the 41-year-old man he was taken into custody without incident. A weapon was recovered on the scene, according to authorities.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
