2 Hurt In South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded in a South Side shooting Sunday afternoon.
The shooting occurred near East 79th Street and South Langley Avenue about 2:20 p.m., police and Fire Media Affairs said.
A 19-year-old man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds to the body, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
The other man, 22, was shot in the ankle and taken to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center in good condition, Zala said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
