Two Chicago police officers hurt after crashing squad car on Near West Side
Two Chicago police officers were taken to the hospital after a crash on the city's Near West Side Monday evening.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the 0-100 block of South Western Avenue.
Police said the marked squad, while in traffic, hit a median.
Both were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
