A jury has reached a verdict in the trial of 18-year-old Mathew Borges, who is charged with beheading Lee Viloria-Paulino in December 2016.
On Wednesday, an associate of Mathew Borges testified that the Lawrence teen told him that he stabbed and beheaded 16-year-old Lee Manuel Viloria-Paulino in 2016.
On day two of the Mathew Borges trial, jurors heard from the man who found victim Lee Viloria-Paulino's body and multiple law enforcement members involved in the case.
Opening statements were presented Monday in the trial of a Lawrence teenager charged with beheading a high school classmate.
