Winthrop Police Investigating Attempted Abduction
WINTHROP (CBS) -- Police are looking into reports of an attempted abduction near Winthrop High School on Monday.
According to police, at 11:30 a.m., a four-door silver/green car approached a group of young boys. The suspect allegedly pointed at one middle-aged school boy and said, "come here." The boy immediately ran into the house. The suspect then said "sorry" and drove away.
Police described as a 60 years old male with white/grey hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Winthrop police at 617-846-1212.
