Former Weymouth Lunch Lady Faces Judge In Rape Case

WEYMOUTH (CBS) --- A Weymouth mother of four has been released on bail after being charged with Aggravated Statutory Rape.

Janelle Foley was in court Wednesday, where prosecutors alleged she had sex on several occasions with the 15-year-old son of a family friend. Prosecutors also said Foley may have had contact with another minor since she was arrested last month. "It has come to our attention that Mrs. Foley has had contact, possibly, with a minor in her neighborhood," said Danielle Piccarini.

But Foley's defense attorney says she's innocent. "None of this is true," John McGlone said. "And the alleged victim's story is in doubt."

Foley used to work in food services at Weymouth Public Schools, but has since been terminated.

The judge ordered her to stay away from anyone under the age of 18 and have no contact with them, even on social media platforms.
