Welker Has Shoulder Injury
Multiple reports say Patriots receiver Wes Welker is recovering from a shoulder injury in addition to surgery to repair his torn knee ligaments.
Welker recently had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. There is no word on whether the shoulder will impact his knee rehabilitation.
Welker missed the playoffs after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in the Patriots' last regular season game. He had reconstructive knee surgery in February.
