Waltham plastic bag ban now in effect
WALTHAM – Single-use plastic bags are no longer allowed at Waltham stores.
The ban went into effect over the weekend.
Stores can only provide customers with recyclable paper bags or reusable bags.
Businesses that do not comply can be fined up to $100.
