Truck Fire Closes Part Of Tobin Bridge During Morning Commute

BOSTON (CBS) --- A truck fire shut down part of the Tobin Bridge during Tuesday's morning commute.

State Police say the fire started around 8:20 a.m. on the southbound side of the Tobin.

Chelsea and Boston Fire used foam to extinguish the truck, owned by Next Generation Vending and Food Services out of St. Louis, Missouri.

One lane was able to pass over the bridge by 8:50 a.m.

The entire roadway was reopened an hour later.

State Police say no injuries were reported.

They are investigating what caused the fire.
