What's Up With Terry Francona's T-Shirt?
BOSTON (CBS) - A lot has been made over the T-shirt former Red Sox manager Terry Francona was wearing during his exclusive TV interview with WBZ-TV's Dan Roche on Wednesday.
The shirt has a picture of Popeye and his famous phrase "Well Blow Me Down" on the front. Part of it was obscured during the interview because Francona had crossed his arms.
We've posted a photo of the shirt here to clear up any confusion about the words on the shirt.
98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich, Deadspin, and Boston Dirt Dogs all posted their own takes on it Thursday, claiming it was a shot at Red Sox management.
