Man Shot While Standing In Swampscott Living Room
SWAMPSCOTT (CBS) – A Swampscott man was shot by an unknown suspect while standing in his living room early Saturday morning.
Police responded to a home on Erie Street around 4 a.m.
A resident said he was standing in his apartment when he heard a noise and felt something in his arm.
Officers discovered the man was shot in the arm by an unknown person who had been outside the home.
The 23-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital to undergo surgery.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
