Somerville Police Warn Of Phone Scam After Officer's Death
SOMERVILLE (CBS) – Police in Somerville are warning residents of a phone scam for a fund purportedly set up in honor of fallen officer Louis Remigio.
Remigio died Monday night from injuries suffered during a motorcycle crash in New Hampshire.
Police say someone is calling residents and seeking donations for a fund set up by Somerville police in Remigio's honor.
At this time, no official fund has been established for Remigio.
Somerville Police say they are investigating the scam.
