Several NH Businesses Report Overnight Break-Ins, Theft

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) -- Several New Hampshire restaurants and businesses were burglary targets early Wednesday morning, police say.

Between about 12:15 a.m. and 3 a.m., damage was reported at a pawn shop, a D'Angelos, a used car dealership, an eye care center, a pet salon and a pizza shop in Manchester. Some merchants reported stolen electronic devices and money, while others found smashed-in doors.

Outside an Applebee's on Second Street, police found a Severino utility truck with a cash register inside from Grand Slam Pizza. Police contacted Severino Trucking and determined that the vehicle had been stolen and used in a commercial burglary in Bedford, New Hampshire, earlier.

Surveillance video spotted the possible burglars outside the Good Still Pawn Shop and on Willow Street plaza.

Luke Nelson, the store's owner said he believes the suspects had been inside the shop before.

The suspects were in and out of the store within 40 seconds, taking $800 worth of merchandise and causing about $1,500 in damage.

"They had been in here before. They knew what they were doing. They knew exactly what they wanted and they took exactly what they wanted," said Nelson.

Police are investigating to confirm that the incidents are all related.
