Salem Unveils New LGBT Newspaper Box Following Explosion
SALEM (CBS) -- New England's largest LGBT publication unveiled a new newspaper box in the heart of Salem on Sunday.
A crowd gathered downtown as the publisher for The Rainbow Times revealed the box.
At least 7 people blew up the old newspaper box that housed The Rainbow Times. Surveillance video caught the incident that occurred last week.
The publisher says the box had been vandalized nearly a dozen times in the last two months.
The latest incident is being investigated as a possible hate crime. No suspects have been named.
A $5000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest.
