Happy Ending For Chihuahua Found Abandoned In Peabody
BURLINGTON (CBS) -- A family has adopted Piglet the chihuahua who was found abandoned in Peabody early March.
A Good Samaritan found the dog, which rescuers have named Piglet, huddled beneath a blanket in the woods near Spring Pond on March 13.
The MSCPA believes Piglet, who is between 5 and 7 years old, was abandoned because of the visible hernia in her belly.
Piglet received the surgery she needed and two days later was adopted into a Burlington home. The family, who does not want to be identified, says Piglet loves being wrapped up in blankets.
