Man Caught On Surveillance Video Stealing Tips From NH Diner
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (CBS) – A surveillance camera captured a clear image of a man suspected of stealing a handful of cash from a New Hampshire diner's tip jar.
Portsmouth Police released surveillance video that shows a man at the counter of Gilley's PM Lunch on Fleet Street.
In the video, which is from Aug. 28 around 10:15 p.m., the man can be seen receiving his food at the counter.
Then, as the employee looks away, the suspect reaches into the jar and grabs a wad of cash.
Police said later on Saturday that they believe they have identified the culprit.
