Police Pull Man's Body From Charles River
BOSTON (CBS) - The body of a 61-year-old man was pulled from the Charles River at about 6 p.m. Friday.
A man reported seeing the body near the Longfellow Bridge. Massachusetts State Police and Boston Marine units responded.
The man was dead at the scene. The cause of death is unknown.
The man has been identified, but police are not releasing his name.
"Evidence was located connecting him to a homeless shelter in Boston. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body," State Police said.
