Pedestrian Struck & Killed Crossing Allston-Brighton Mass Pike Ramp
BOSTON (AP) — State police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was apparently trying to cross a ramp to the Massachusetts Turnpike in Boston.
The 26-year-old victim was struck by a Toyota Camry on the Cambridge Street on-ramp in the city's Allston neighborhood at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.
He was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The 45-year-old man driving the Toyota remained at the scene, spoke with investigators, and did not show signs of impairment. No charges have been filed.
The death remains under investigation.
