Report: Bryan Stork Dealing With Neck Injury In Addition To Concussion
BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots' offensive line will have to spend at least the first eight weeks of the 2015 regular season without starting center Bryan Stork, as he recovers from his third concussion in as many years. Now, it's known that Stork's injuries go beyond that.
The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe reported Thursday afternoon that a "source close to the situation" told him that Stork is dealing with a "muscular-related issue" in his neck, in addition to the concussion that will keep him sidelined for at least half the season.
On short-term injured reserve, Stork will be eligible to practice with the Patriots starting in week 8, and eligible to play in week 9. But with Stork dealing with his third concussion and apparently a particularly serious one, the team won't be taking any chances bringing him back.
