Olynyk Practices, Could Return To Celtics Tuesday vs. Nets
BOSTON (CBS) - Celtics rookie Kelly Olynyk hit the pracitce floor on Monday, but doesn't know if he'll be able to suit up for Tuesday night's tilt against the Nets in Brooklyn.
Olynyk, who has missed the last eight games after suffering an ankle injury on November 22 against the Indiana Pacers, participated in the Celtics light workout on Monday. He didn't say a return was certain, but didn't rule it out either.
"There might be a chance [to play versus Brooklyn]," Olynyk said Monday, according to ESPNBoston.com's Chris Forsberg. "It depends on how I feel, how [the ankle] reacts to this [workout], how the warm-up goes [before Tuesday's game]. It's still a little bit tough to go 100 percent, max jump. We'll see how it goes."

Olynyk says the injury is getting better by the day, but he still feels pain and has a few restrictions on the court, and will be a game-time decision come Tuesday.
"I would say that he's, at worst, questionable for [Tuesday's game]," Boston head coach Brad Stevens said.

Olynyk, who the Celtics selected 13th overall in last year's NBA Draft after a draft night trade with the Dallas Mavericks, has averaged 7.5 points and 5.4 rebounds for Boston in 14 games played this season.
