Historic Comeback Brings Huskies One Step Closer To March Madness
BOSTON (CBS) - At The WBZ Water Cooler: The Northeastern Huskies put themselves in a big hole versus George Mason in the CAA semifinal today.
After facing a 24-point deficit during the first half, the Huskies made their push toward the NCAA tournament. They closed the gap to 12 points at halftime, and ultimately finished on top, 69-67, making it to the CAA final with a spot in the Big Dance on the line.
Northeastern Head Coach Bill Coen talked with WBZ leading up to the game, about how exciting this time of year is.
