NightSide - Should Schools Have Police Officers On Site?

BOSTON (CBS) - A viral video that shows a police officer throwing a high school student to the ground has sparked a conversation about authority figures in schools. The video picks up with the exchange already in progress, but concludes with the officer flipping over the sixteen year old female's desk (with her still in it) and then sliding her across the floor. The officer has been fired, but the incident has caused some to question whether police officers belong in schools at all. Do you think the officer should have been fired? Does it make sense to have police officers in schools? Is our country too quick to overreact to a single incident?
