NightSide - Media Quick To Defend Peyton Manning

BOSTON (CBS) - One of the biggest news stories of 2015 was the Deflategate scandal following the Patriots Super Bowl win. For six months, media outlets around the country were talking about air pressure in footballs and whether or not they thought Tom Brady was aware of the plan, despite a complete lack of proof of any wrongdoing at all. False reports and misinformation spread like wildfire. Now, the league's other historically great quarterback Peyton Manning is facing a scandal of his own. Reports about possible HGH use are circulating, though Manning has vehemently denied any use of performance enhancing drugs. Do you think the media will cover this story with the same fervor as Deflategate? Should they? What's the difference?
