NightSide - Are We Too Quick To Assume The Worst About Parents?
BOSTON (CBS) - An Amber Alert was activated when a Pennsylvania mother decided to bring her infant son all the way to Boston to be treated at Children's Hospital. Tiffany Cherry was told her son was severely dehydrated, and that he must be admitted to an emergency room for further care. But when the mother decided to make the drive to Boston, the alert was activated by authorities. Stephen Weymouth is Ms. Cherry's attorney, and he sits down with Dan to talk about how this situation escalated so quickly. Do you think a parent should be allowed to decide where their child should be treated? Was the Amber Alert overkill?
