MIT Professor: 'Stopping Kony' Is Not That Easy
BOSTON (CBS) - By now, most people have heard about the Kony 2012 video that's gotten over 50 million hits on the internet.
The 30 minute video has inspired many people to fund the effort to capture the head of Uganda's Lord's Resistance Army, Joseph Kony, who is now believed to be in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
But the video by the group Invisible Children has also been criticized for over-simplifying a very complicated issue.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Suzanne Sausville spoke with Ethan Zuckerman, the director of MIT's Center for Civic Media about the video.
