Shot Fired Toward NH First Responders During Call

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) – New Hampshire first responders reported a gunshot being fired in their direction early Saturday morning as they responded to a call.

Manchester Police said American Medical Response emergency personnel were checking on a drunk person who passed out in the Triangle Credit Union parking lot on Elm Street.

While the first responders prepared to transport the person to an area hospital, they heard a "single gunshot and loud crack," police said.

The ambulance employees believe the bullet passed over their heads.

The gunshot is believed to have come from the woods behind AL Prime Gas.

Officers searched the area but could not find any suspects or evidence.

No one was injured by the gunshot.
