Man Charged With Murder Following Fight In South End
BOSTON (CBS) -- A Boston man has been charged with murder following a fight in the South End Saturday night.
Police say a fight between Peter McGowan, 53, of Boston, and another man on Massachusetts Ave. shortly after 5p.m. on Saturday. Responding officers found a man, only identified as being in his late 40's, suffering from life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
McGowan was arrested in the area a short time later. He is due in court on Monday.
The incident remains under investigation.
