Patriots Injury Report: J.C. Jackson Good To Go In Week 9 Vs. Panthers

FOXBORO (CBS) -- J.C. Jackson is good to go for the Patriots this weekend against the Carolina Panthers. New England's top corner was back at practice on Friday, and was taken off the team's injury report for Week 9.

An illness kept Jackson off the practice field on Wednesday and Thursday, but he was a full participant on Friday. He'll be out there Sunday when the Pats take on the Panthers, which is great news for a secondary that lost slot corner Jonathan Jones two weeks ago.

For the season, Jackson has three interceptions to go with a team-high 10 passes defended. He had five combined tackles in Week 8 against the L.A. Chargers, playing 90 percent of New England's defensive snaps. Jackson has been on the field for 91 percent of New England's defensive plays this season.

The Patriots did list 13 players on Friday's injury report, all of whom are questionable for Sunday's game:

P Jake Bailey, Right Knee
DT Christian Barmore, Foot
LB Ja'Whaun Bentley, Ribs
DL Carl Davis, Hand
S Cody Davis, Hand
S Kyle Dugger, Neck
K Nick Folk, Left Knee
WR N'Keal Harry, Knee
LB Dont'a Hightower, Ankle
G Shaq Mason, Abdomen
TE Jonnu Smith, Shoulder
LB Josh Uche, Shoulder
LB Kyle Van Noy, Groin

Bailey and Harry were new additions to the injury list on Friday.

Carolina listed three players as questionable on Sunday, including quarterback Sam Darnold, who was limited Friday with a concussion and a right shoulder injury. Darnold was limited in all three practice sessions this week, and we likely won't know if it will be him or P.J. Walker under center until late Sunday morning.

Panthers guard Pat Elflein was a full participant on Friday as he deals with a hamstring injury, while corner Stantley Thomas-Oliver did not practice for the second straight day with a toe injury.
