BOSTON (CBS) - An 18-year-old Stop & Shop employee was stabbed inside the Hyde Park Store Thursday evening. Boston Police responded to Truman Parkway around 7 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gerson Moreno, 21, of Dorchester, and one other man were arrested before they could drive out of the parking lot, police said. Both will appear in West Roxbury District Court on charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

Stop & Shop released a statement, which said, "We can confirm that our Hyde Park store, located at 1025 Truman Parkway, is currently closed following an incident that occurred around 7 p.m. tonight. One store associate was injured during an altercation and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Stop & Shop is cooperating fully with local law enforcement. "

Police said two other men were punched by the suspects and a third received a cut but all of them refused medical attention.

The motive for the stabbing is not known.
