Harvard's Keith Wright Named Ivy League Player of Year
BOSTON (CBS) - Harvard junior Keith Wright has been named the Ivy League Player of the Year, becoming only the second Crimson player to take home the honors.
Wright led the Crimson in scoring with 14.9 points and rebounding with 8.5 boards per game. He recorded 12 double-doubles on the season, including seven in Ivy League games.

Wright was also a unanimous selection to the All-Ivy first team, while sophomore forward Kyle Casey and sophomore guard Brandyn Curry earned All-Ivy League second team nods. Sophomore guard Christian Webster rounded out the group of Harvard players, as he garnered honorable mention.

Harvard finished the 2010-11 regular season with the most wins (23), conference wins (12) and home victories (14) in program history, and will face Princeton in an Ivy League playoff for the league's automatic berth to the NCAA tournament on Saturday. A Harvard win would give the Crimson its first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 1946.
