Police Increase Patrols At Hampton Beach, Resulting In 16 Weekend Arrests

HAMPTON, N.H. (CBS) – A string of fights at Hampton Beach over the last several weeks prompted police to put out extra patrols.

Over the weekend, officers arrested 16 people

Friday night, officers removed a large crowd from the sand, resulting in nine arrests.

The next day, police arrested seven people who were allegedly drinking and throwing glass at police. Most will face disorderly conduct charges.
