Get Closer: Joey McIntyre Sits Down With WBZ [VIDEO]

BOSTON (CBS) - Musician and actor Joey McIntyre was in Boston this week, getting the city excited for the launch of his new Primetime comedy on CBS.

The McCarthy's debuts on WBZ-TV Thursday, October 30 at 9:30pm. McIntyre plays Gerard, one of the adult sons in a sports-crazed Boston family.

While he was in town, the former New Kid on the Block sang the National Anthem before the Patriots-Jets game, and found some time to sit down with WBZ-TV's Lisa Hughes and David Wade to talk about his new role, and his love for his hometown.
