Woman Hurt When Tree Falls At Franklin Park Zoo
BOSTON (CBS) -- A woman was hurt when part of a tree fell on her at the Franklin Park Zoo Saturday afternoon.
Anne Knapp, a spokesperson for the zoo, told reporters a branch fell on top of a pop-up tent and table, injuring the woman just before 2 p.m.
She was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. Her name was not made public.
State Police said the tree was likely dead and broke apart in the wind. No one else was hurt and the zoo remained open.
