It all gets underway New Years Day with a free public skate. On January 2, a free, single-ticket high school triple header takes over the ballpark featuring Boston Latin against East Boston (Boys), Boston Latin Academy vs Boston Latin School (Girls), and Mount Saint Charles Academy vs. Cathedral High School (Boys).

On January 7, Fenway features a Hockey East doubleheader with the University of Vermont taking on UMass at 4 p.m., followed by the University of New Hampshire battling the University of Maine at 7:30 p.m.
