1 Killed In Early Morning Danvers Crash
DANVERS (CBS) -- One person was killed in a two-car crash early Friday morning in Danvers.
Police responded to the head-on crash at the intersection of Sylvan and Federal Street around 4 a.m.
The driver of one of the cars, a 59-year-old Danvers resident, was rushed to a nearby hospital and later died. The second driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are looking to the cause of the crash but say it may have been due to a medical issue.
